Freestone Hill Pinot Noir (2012)

Located in the extreme southwest corner of the Russian River Valley, Freestone Hill is right in the climatic margin for ripening grapes. Aged for 17 months in 55% new French oak, in 2012 a beautiful vintage for the Russian River Valley. Exotic dark fruit, Asian spices and sandalwood in the nose complemented with red currant and black raspberry in the mouth, rich and full with a prolonged finish of cassis and cardamom. Less than 4,000 bottles produced.
