Kiraly Dulo Single Vineyard Furmint (2012)

Király is a historical grand cru, a relatively big one like Clos de Vougeot or Corton Charlemagne in Burgundy, but we are lucky to have our plot int he middle/one of the best parts (windy, not too humid, good drainage, not too rich but enough soil). (1/3) of new oak, 5-7 months of aging in barrel. These wines combine depth of flavor with intrinsic balance and refinement. Kiraly’s vineyard character is quite evident in our wines from year-to-year, providing considerable complexity and finesse, with pronounced fruitiness (white peach, pineapple, lime, pear, mango, orange). Only 1,400 bottles produced.
