70% TOURIGA NACIONAL, 20% TOURIGA FRANCA, 10% TINTA RORIZ Deep ruby colour, with complex aromas of black ripe fruit, spices, moca, orange blossom and nuances of rockrose. In the mouth it reveals a good balance between acidity and soft layerd tannins. A long-lasting aromatic taste. Touriga Nacional grapes came from “Marão 2001” block and Touriga Franca grapes from “Boavista de Baixo” block. . Both in “Cova da Barca” vineyard, caracterized by making richer and more full bodied wines. Tinta Roriz grapes came from “TR6” block in Fronteira vineyard caracterized by making wines higher in tannins and acidity. Soils are schist and stony with traditional terraces. (DECANTER GOLD MEDAL)
