VINE CLIFF-Napa Valley Cab Sauvignon 1.5L

The 2008 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon offers enticing aromas of raspberry jam and red currant, topped with anise and cassis along with underlying hints of cedar and graphite. This wine opens with flavors of raspberry, red currants and black plum followed by vanilla bean, white chocolate and a light dusting of sandalwood. The soft rich texture that fills the center of the mouth is a prelude to the lingering finish of silky well integrated tannins. This wine is drinking beuatifully now but should age well for another 5 to 7 years and will enhance a variety of dishes such as roast lamb seasoned with lavender and juniper berry or pork loin with a huckleberry reduction sauce.
